SDC November 2014 Challenge Links

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in December from all those who played in the November challenges.

We are no longer accepting creations using digi stamps.  These will be deleted, we appreciate those that play with us each week and we welcome those using rubber or clear stamps.

Please link DIRECTLY to your creation, not to your blog.  You MUST  include the challenge # (which can be found at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog) behind your name (any not linking directly to your creation AND having the challenge # will be deleted and not eligible for prize).   For example if I'm entering it would look like this- MYNAME-SDC73 (or whichever challenge # it is) .

November Guest Designer: Jools Robertson

We welcome a returning guest designer this month.

You have seen our next guest designer frequent our challenge blogs, she's been a top favorite many times over the past year.

We welcome Jools Robertson to the team for the month of November as our last guest designer for 2014.

I work full time as a Textile Design and Development Manager working on commercial projects and developing product collections, so I'm constantly being creative working with textures, design and colour which I love.

In my spare time, I enjoy all types of arts and crafts and working with multimedia, particularly altered art using paint, clay, plaster, die cutting, stamps, pens, pencils using lots of colour and texture.

I'm currently on the DecoArt International Design Team, so I love using paints on my projects particularly with Gelli Plate and Stencils.

I've always crafted and love trying new techniques and projects.  I enjoy paper crafts, jewelry, pottery and even sugar crafts...I love eating Marzipan and icing!  I also use Craft Artist and Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation, taking images of my own artwork, photographs and incorporate them into digital projects such as scrapbooking and journaling.

I love Stampotique Stamps!  The artwork is incredible, so unique, diverse, fun and quirky! The attention to detail, variety and expressive nature of them is amazing.  I'm so pleased to have been asked to be a returning Guest Designer for the November challenges.  Such fabulous challenges, which are always inspiring and I'm so looking forward to seeing everyones amazing creations.

SDC171: Favorite Colors

No explanation needed for this week's challenge. I'm asking you to use your favourite colours. Use as many colours as you want to. I think we all have favourite colour combinations, colours that always match, colours that work for us, colours we turn to when we lack a bit of inspiration. Mine are variations of green and blue. Corrie is our hostess for todays challenge and here is what she's said:

Today it is my turn to host the Challenge and I would like you to use book text. This is such a versatile material and when I get a bit stuck, I regularly reach for an old book to use the pages. I think everybody has an old book or magazine lying around to use. I can't wait to see what you come up with, but most of all have fun creating !!!
