We are thrilled to announce our July guest designer. She's a frequent player in our weekly challenges and her creations are a lot of fun to see!
I am a mixed media artist living in the small New England town of Bolton, MA. I am absolutely thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Stampotique for the month of July!
My crafting adventure began with scrapbooking about 15 years ago, when my husband and I moved from So. Calif. to New England. During those long cold winters I was pretty much housebound needing an indoor hobby. Then I started using those scrapbooking supplies to make cards about 10 years ago after buying my first stamp. My style is eclectic and leans more towards inky, grungy projects rather than pretty and cute. I have tried just about everything from Art Journaling, cards, ATCs, canvas art and tags. I am the first to admit that I have a serious addiction to ink, stamps and stencils.
One of my greatest loves is Stampotique stamps. I have a major art crush on Daniel Torrente, as do so many others! I use my family of stamps for cards and mixed media projects. Not only do I love the characters but the quality of the stamps never disappoints.
My work can be seen in magazines such as: Somerset Studio, The Stampers’ Sampler, Handcrafted, Just Steampunk Vol 4, Somerset Studio Gallery, Art Journaling and Take Ten. I also teach classes locally.
