SDC52: Oodles of Doodles

Spring is definitely in the air as we evidenced by the bright and airy collection of entries this past challenge.  Gez had fun picking out 3 favorites and I think we all agree, when we are picking our favorites, it is one of the hardest parts of being the hostess.

Gez's favorites are:

Kaz is our hostess over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge today and here is what she has challenged us with:

"I can't draw and that's why I love stamping! I'm trying to work on my lettering, but some of the Design Team can do either or both and I am regularly in awe of their talent. I used to be frightened of doing anything freehand, but now I can't stop doodling and if I can do it, anyone can. Whether it's a few dots to highlight or a simple border, right through to drawing an accent on a stamp, I'd like you to do something freehand on your project."

Only creations using Stampotique stamps will be eligible for the prize.

SDC51: Spring has Sprung

We can see the wearable art was a challenge for a lot of you but love what everyone had created to show off how versatile the Stampotique stamps can be.  Thanks for thinking out of the box and for joining us!

Your imaginative wearable art left Valerie feeling that they were all her favorites!
She has chosen to highlight a few pieces that used very creative materials to create beautiful, stylish accessories:
Hermine
Shrink plastic, mini bottle, beads
Trisha
Fabric, netting, button, wire
Renee Zarate
Hotel room key
Along with Valerie's favorites our team had a very difficult time picking out a winner for our guest designer...so we decided to pick two.

Congratulations to Astrid Stulemeijer and Belinda Spencer

You can see their creations over on our Facebook page.  Astrid's creation is here and Belinda's is here.
