SDC193: Polka Dots

Wanted to say a quick thank you to one of our designers and team members France who has been a wonderful addition to our team, but has made the tough decision to step down from the team to pursue some other avenues in her professional career.  We are excited to see what the future has in store for her and always will be looking forward to seeing her designs.

Sam Read is our hostess this week and she's got us thinking spots:

I included polka dots in a previous challenge and everyone who took part seemed to have such fun, I thought we could revisit them.  Have fun!

Valerie Wilson is our hostess this week and she's thinking spring:

"In my town, there is still snow on the ground, but I'm hoping that if we keep thinking "Spring" really hard, that Spring will arrive! To encourage the arrival of Spring, I'd like to see you actually use springs or something that makes things spring up off your project!"

SDC April 2015 Challenge Links

PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE LINKING

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in April from all those who played in the April challenges.

If you do not have a blog to link up to, please feel free to join our Stampotique page on Facebook here.  We have a photo album on there called SDC Challenge Photos that you can upload your photo there.  Once you have uploaded it there, go to your photo in that album and copy the URL to link on the Stampotique Designer's Challenge links.

We are no longer accepting creations using digi stamps.  These will be deleted, we appreciate those that play with us each week and we welcome those using rubber or clear stamps.

Please link DIRECTLY to your creation, not to your blog.  You MUST  include the challenge # (which can be found at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog) behind your name (any not linking directly to your creation AND having the challenge # will be deleted and not eligible for prize).   For example if I'm entering it would look like this-
MYNAME-SDC73
(or whichever challenge # it is) .

We ask that if you have comment verification turned on, that you would consider turning this on and doing comment moderation instead.

Please use Inlinkz below to link up your challenge.

**Change to Stampotique submission rules:  You will now have until the first challenge of the following month to submit your entries-we will only have one Inlinkz per month; so today marks the start of the challenges for April and it will run through the close of our last challenge for April which will be May 5, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. EST**

SDC189: Unusually Shaped Card

Today we welcome our April guest designer who has been playing along in our challenges for quite awhile, Kassa Hayselden.  Here's a little bit about Kassa:

Hi there lovely friends....

My name is Kassa (Karen Hayselden) - eeek! so excited to be here!

I'm from a glorious part of England - Yorkshire
I live there with my hubby, beautiful daughter and my furry gang.....lol Ruby the Leonberger often likes to get involved with 'our' art, tis her big nose, its often covered with gesso, paints and glitters!

When it comes to art, I'll give anything a go but my real love is mixed media filled with tiny detail....details that take me into my own little world and imagination - a happy place to be.....creating 'happy' art......

A few years ago I started my Stampotique 'addiction' with a  collection of Daniel Torrente and Janet Klein's beauties and now, well...I just can't stop.....heeheehee (don't want to either- keep them coming Stampotique :-)))

And how lucky am I - I only live 15 minutes away from a major stockist of Stampotique stamps - Art from the Heart - and how exciting I'm teaching regular monthly workshops there - the workshops are called 'Stampotique Boutique' can you guess what we get up to............we'll be up to our elbows in Stampotique - YeY!!!!

To go peep at my blog here's the link - kassadh.blogspot.co.uk

Mwah Kassa xoxo

and now onto our first challenge of April:

Arwen McCullen is our hostess this week and has us thinking out of the box:

Anyone can do a square card.  I like unusual creations and would like to see other card types this week.  Enjoy the implementation and I'm curious about your artwork.
