SDC121: Halloween

Carol is hosting our challenge this week and it's time to get out your spooky stamps:

"I particularly choose the month of October to host the challenge as I love Halloween. it was the quirky off beat stamps of Daniel Torrente that first drew me to Stampotique all those years ago, as it then seemed to me that I could make Halloween themed items all year with his gothic style stamps and no one would realize that was what I was doing. I think I may have broken the record on my make for the challenge with the most rubber stamps used on one item, but it was hard as there were just so many to choose from. Hope you all enjoy the challenge and get your spook on for the whole month. carol x"

SDC120: Handles, hinges, buckles, fasteners, pulls

Val is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to Handles, hinges, buckles, fasteners, pulls - different ways to flip, fold, fasten, open, close and grasp! These could be used on cards, dimensional projects, envelopes or altered/recycled/found objects.... faux or real - anything goes!

Want to thank everyone who took time to submit for the design team call.  We loved all the creations and while picking the members to join us on the design team is never an easy decision, we are excited to share with you soon who we choose.

If you were not chosen, it wasn't because we didn't like your work.  We look for a variety of designers who like to use a variety of stamps.  We also try to look for active bloggers who show their enthusiasm for Stampotique.  We encourage all to continue playing along with the challenges and posting your work to Facebook and we hope to see you apply for the team after the next term.

Our announcement of the new team will not happen until later in the year.

**Please read new rule instituted with this challenge-we will no longer be accepting digi stamp creations as part of our challenges.  Stampotique is a red rubber stamp company and we prefer to see creations with stamps versus those with digital creations.  These entries will be deleted and will not be eligible for the prize.  Thank you for understanding.**

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Please read ALL RULES on the linkz page before linking your creation.
If you didn't follow the rules posted, you may have been deleted.
Feel free to relink your creation with the correct information for a chance to win.
*No digi stamp creations please*

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in November from all those who played in the October challenges.

We are no longer accepting creations using digi stamps.  These will be deleted, we appreciate those that play with us each week and we welcome those using rubber or clear stamps.

We ask that if you have comment verification turned on, that you would consider turning this on and doing comment moderation instead.

SDC118: Washi Tape

Hello, hello... it's Astrid's to host and she chose Washi Tape for this challenge.  Here's what she says about it:

"Not really a hard one is it ;-) I adore this stuff and I think a lot of us do. I especially love the black and white ones, it makes the other colors you use really intense. And it's just an easy way to add something extra on your creation.

So use this happy stuff as a background or as an embellishment on your creation. Hope you like Washi Tape just as I do :-)"

Hope you will join us and put that washi tape to use for your chance to win one of two random $30 gift certificates for Stampotique stamps.

Die amelie has used a "Smackin' Acetate Technique" I must admit I had never heard of this, but it is really cool and I shall defiantly be having a go at it.

I love the clear embossing and paint and Moth Fab, so of course this had to go in my top 3. A lovely card Sam.

The resist heat embossing  looks lovely on your tag Corrie.
