I thought it would be nice to stir things up a bit... step out of our comfort zones just for a little while! So this week I challenge you to make something a little cleaner and a little simpler than your normal style.. can't wait to see what you come up with, Gez.

SDC108: French Flair

Libby Hickson is our hostess this week and here is her challenge for you all:

Although I live in Atlanta, Georgia, I spend every summer traveling vicariously around France, thanks to a bunch of boys on bicycles riding in the Tour de France! It always inspires me to create cards with a little French flair - so today I'm challenging you to do the same! Anything you can think of - the colors of France, French script, classic landmarks - whatever you'd like, just give your card a little French flair!

SDC107: Recycle It

Sam Read is our hostess this week and here is what she is challenging us all with:

I dislike throwing anything away that 'might come in handy one day' so I have a corner of my art room filled with bits and bobs to be recycled. For this weeks challenge I'm inviting you to recycle something, I've chosen an empty glass jar and turned it in to a hanging candle holder for the garden, now all I need is some nice warm evenings . . .fingers crossed!

SDC105: Anything but a card

“When I participate in challenges, escpecially when I’m short of time, I tend to make cards. They are usually a quick and easy thing to make. So this week I challenge you (and myself) to make ANYTHING BUT A CARD for the Stampotique designer’s challenge. I made  a double journalpage in my little artjournal. I’m very curious to see what you come up with!
