Welcome our November Guest Designer

We are very excited about our November Guest Designer here at Stampotique Designer's Challenge this week.  She is someone you may or may not be familiar with. You may even have some of her fabulous stamps in your collection.  Please welcome one of Stampotique Originals own stamp artist, Janet Klein.  Janet will be joining us here for our challenges this month as well as sharing her work over on our sister blog, Stampotique Originals Designer's Blog.

Janet has been drawing all her life.  She is an elementary art specialist inspiring over 800 children a week.  Janet is the art teacher that we all wish we had had when we were in school.  Not only is she great with children, but she also teaches art education classes to teachers and  taught for Stampotique when it had a retail shop.

Janet has two “sides” to her rubber stamp images; the ‘flower girl’ images, which are tongue and cheek and her beautiful vintage photographic images of her family and her husband’s family.  Janet’s work has been published in most of the industry magazines as well as in Tweety Jill Publications books.

Janet resides with her husband Jess, and their adorable doodlesPhoebe and Humphrey

Please give Janet a warm welcome to the group and if you've used Janet's stamps, collect them or are just seeing them for the first time, let us know which one is your favorite.

RE: last week's highlights and winner:
Inlinkz is down at the time of this post so Kim will be doing a separate post with Betty's top picks from last week and our random winner as soon as it's up and running.  Thanks for sticking with us!

This week we pay homage to the upcoming "Fright Night"!  Valerie has embraced her dark side and challenges us to create something spooky, freaky, ghoulish, dreadful, dark, mysterious, creepy, ghastly, tragic, grim, shocking, wicked and fun using only Stampotique Originals stamps!

(If you have not yet started your Stampotique collection, please join us on the second Wednesday of every month when you may use any stamps.)

To help give you some ghastly ideas, the design team is showcasing some seriously spooky scenes!  Click the pics for a closer look and click the designers' names to visit their blogs for more details about their creations.  We look forward to seeing how dark and daring you can be!

SDC17: Treat Containers

Thank you to all our loyal followers for being patient while we got the delayed post going. Our apologies for being tardy this week!

This week we have the wonderful hostess Betty Roberts challenging us to make a treat container-just in time to collect all that Halloween candy! This week is a anything goes challenge in regards to stamps-you can use any stamps to create your treat container. This can be a box, a bag, a sour cream container-any type of holder for some goodies.

Thank you to all that played with us last week, we had such fantastic entries as we do a lot of weeks.  Milo picked her 3 favorites and here they are (please e-mail me at khowardga@gmail.com if you would like to display the SDC favorites badge on your blog)-Congratulations ladies!
Jacqueline (sorry I couldn't copy & paste your picture)
