SDC17: Treat Containers

Thank you to all our loyal followers for being patient while we got the delayed post going. Our apologies for being tardy this week!

This week we have the wonderful hostess Betty Roberts challenging us to make a treat container-just in time to collect all that Halloween candy! This week is a anything goes challenge in regards to stamps-you can use any stamps to create your treat container. This can be a box, a bag, a sour cream container-any type of holder for some goodies.

Thank you to all that played with us last week, we had such fantastic entries as we do a lot of weeks.  Milo picked her 3 favorites and here they are (please e-mail me at khowardga@gmail.com if you would like to display the SDC favorites badge on your blog)-Congratulations ladies!
Jacqueline (sorry I couldn't copy & paste your picture)

Challenge #16 is a STAMPOTIQUE ONLY challenge-you must use ONLY Stampotique Stamps on your creation.

In love with the background she created on this card with the "burst" underneath the image.

At Stampotique we are thrilled to announce our Guest Designer for the month of October. Some of you may recognize her as one of our frequent players of our challenges. Please help us welcome Shannon Sawyer who will start playing with us with our first challenge in October. Here is some more about Shannon:

My name is Shannon Sawyer and I've been doing different forms of Mixed Media & stamping for over 11 years now. I had initially started when I stopped working back in 2000. I wanted a hobby that would keep me busy. Instead of finding a hobby, I found a whole world of like minded people and all kinds of different forms of artwork that consumed me.
I've been published man times in the various Stampinton magazines and I have also been published in Craft Stamper from the UK. I was recently asked to join the On Call Artist team for the Stampington publications, I am a Design Team member of AlphaStamps and I work a lot with ArtChix Studio.
I can be reached at either: saturdayville@gmail.com or sawyershannon@aol.com
I am thrilled and honored to be asked to be a guest artist for the Stampotique Design Team.
I look up to every designer on the Stampotique Design Team so much, it is very much a privilege.

SDC15: Birthday

SDC15: Birthday Theme using ANY stamps

Today is the first challenge of September and I'm loving that the temperatures are getting a little cooler here in Georgia. While I don't love the warm or cold weather, I do love when it starts to turn fall and the temps start to drop. The in between season is what I love the most.
Our challenge this week has a birthday theme. We have a lot of birthdays in our family in September and so we are thinking birthday all month long-as a matter of fact this card is going to a friend at work who I will be seeing today. Break out those Stampotique stamps if you have them and if you don't feel free to join this week using any stamps you have available. If you haven't seen the awesome new stamps released this month at Stampotique, run over there and check them out now. Our design team member, Jo Capper-Sandon has some fabulous newly released stamps and there are some phenomenal new Jill Penney & Daniel Torrente stamps as well.

*Please note: Stampotique will be closed ALL of October, so place your orders NOW to have them shipped prior to closing.*

Kaz top 3 picks for last week's Not So Sweet 16 challenge are:
you can e-mail Kim if you would like the DT Pick badge (khowardga@gmail.com)

Sue

This one has made good use of lots of stamps and I like the way Mr Stripes is hanging from wire.

Sam Read
This one is hilarious - I love the heads and kitty upside down, plus the subtle backgground

I love the black tulle on the background and the dress-very gothic and very my neice!

Our winner for the $30 gift certificate by random number generator is:

#22 Sue Smith
Congratulations, please e-mail Carol to claim your gift certificate (Carol@stampotique.com)

Remember, you've got to play to win! Enter your creation using InLinkz at the bottom of the post with a DIRECT link to your creation. Links that do not go directly to the creation will not be entered to win. You will have until 7 p.m. EDT on 9/14/10 to enter to win.

SDC14: Not so Sweet 16

SDC14: Not so Sweet 16
THIS WEEK IS A STAMPOTIQUE STAMPS ONLY CHALLENGE, USE OF OTHER STAMPS WILL NOT QUALIFY YOU FOR THE GIFT CERTIFICATE

Hi I'm Kaz and I'm excited and a little nervous about setting my first challenge. This month my eldest niece turns 16, but she's not your typical glittery shoes and handbags card kind of girl. In fact I bought my first Stampotique stamp, Moth Fab, for a card for her on a previous birthday as it is so her and I became hooked on them and here I am a year later on the DT! So I would like to see some (not so) sweet 16 cards for non-girly girls please!

This is a Stampotique Stamps only week,
if you do not own any Stampotique Stamps yet, please join us the first Wednesday of the month for our any stamps goes challenge.

Willy had a tough time choosing her 3 favorites this past challenge but finally narrowed it down to the following, please contact Kim @ khowardga@gmail.com if you would like to display the Stampotique Designer's Favorite badge:

The combination of the background colors and the white embossing is absolutely stunning.

I love all those brave girls with wings in front of the graffiti wall. Great quotes!

The choice of colors is gorgeous. An amazing card with the landscape and the wonderful wings.

We had a whopping 40+ entries for our last challenge, we are thrilled that so many played and we look forward to seeing more for this next challenge!!  Our random winner this week is a lucky on as we have upped the ante to include a $25 gift certificate ($20 towards stamps, $5 towards shipping) from Stampotique and we will be offering this on all challenges going forward.  Without further ado, our winner this week is:

#19 Carol Q
