SDC October Challenge Links

PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE LINKING

Please remember you can use any stamps now for our challenge, but only one entry per person.  We will draw 2 random winners on the first week of our challenge in November from all those who played in the October challenges.

We are no longer accepting creations using digi stamps.  These will be deleted, we appreciate those that play with us each week and we welcome those using rubber or clear stamps.

Please link DIRECTLY to your creation, not to your blog.  You MUST  include the challenge # (which can be found at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog) behind your name (any not linking directly to your creation AND having the challenge # will be deleted and not eligible for prize).   For example if I'm entering it would look like this- MYNAME-SDC73 (or whichever challenge # it is) .

We ask that if you have comment verification turned on, that you would consider turning this on and doing comment moderation instead.

Please use Inlinkz below to link up your challenge.

**Change to Stampotique submission rules:  You will now have until the first challenge of the following month to submit your entries-we will only have one Inlinkz per month; so today marks the start of the challenges for October and it will run through the close of our last challenge for October which will be November 4, 2014 at noon ET**

SDC165: One Stamp

Apologies to all that this didn't go live when it was supposed to-blame it on user error this week  ;-)

Sam is our hostess this week and she's got quite the challenge for us:

"One of the beauties of Stampotique stamps is even though there are 18 amazing artists designing our rubbery goodness and their images work so well together it's great to use a lot of stamps for one project, I often do.

So this week, I am challenging myself too and inviting you to use just one stamp . . . wondering off scratching head and rubbing chin . . . this is going to be SO hard to choose!!

Most importantly, have fun, Sam x

SDC164: Birds or Animals

Kaz is our hostess this week and this is her challenge to you:

Napoleon once said that the English are a nation of shopkeepers. What he should have said is that we are a nation of animal lovers. Nearly everyone I know has got a cat or dog, a pet rabbit or bird, and I know that my Stampotique teamies have their pets too. So this week we're celebrating the fur and feathers and I challenge you to create something with either animals or birds. So put your best paw forward and bring it on.

Have fun!

SDC September Guest Designer: Julie Steed

We bid our wonderful August guest designer adieu today and welcome our September guest designer, Julie Steed.

Greetings!  My name is Julie and I hail from the often-soggy Pacific NW section of the U.S.  As a child my favorite part of school was when the teacher pulled out the art supplies.  Color, texture and composition still catch my eye.  17 years ago, when my daughter was born, I was introduced to scrapbooking and stamping which reinvigorated my love affair with paper and all the good stuff that can be done with it.
I can be found in my creative nook at most any time of day though my favorite time is early in the morning when the hubster and kiddos are still sound asleep.  I joke that I have crafting ADD and am always eager to try new products and techniques.  The wonderfully quirky style of their designers is what first attracted me to Stampotique.
To support my paper and stamp buying habits I opened an Etsy shop, Elves In The Attic, in 2009.  Many of my creative experiments end up there and even more can be found on my blog, ElvesInTheAttic.blogspot.com
